ODT does not displaying back ground image

Hello,
Im not sure whether this is the right place to ask the doubt.
I am trying generate an odt file from jasper report. i have added a back ground picture to the report which is not getting displayed in odt. when i export to any other format like pdf it is getting displayed. It will be very helpful if any one can suggest how can i go about with this.

Is it not getting displayed when it is viewed in OOo or not getting displayed when you print?

How are you setting the background image?

I just did a test using Format > Page > Background tab > selected 'Graphic' from the 'As' drop down menu

The image is visible within OOo and prints out as expected.

Make sure you have Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org Write > View > 'Graphics and Objects' check box selected.

Thank you for the response. I have seen the example you sent and now i know this is not an issue with open office . Problem should be with jasper report odt export. Thanks again for the time spent for my query.
