[Issue] Still can't connect to Bibus

Like 3.0 and 3.0.1, OOo 3.1rc1 will not connect to Bibus 1.4.3,

leaving us will no choice but to use 2.4.2

Is anyone concerned about the lack of access to a good standalone bibliographic reference application?

You can register there and add your vote (up to two) or comment.

It seems there is a workaround described in the comments there.

There's no indication of when a permanent solution might appear.

I've been down all those roads - dead ends.

OOo 3.x does not connect to Bibus 1.4.x on Windows vista.

I've installed the uncompiled version, edited the .cfg and all the stuff.

No joy.

Bibus connects perfectly and easily to OOo 2.4.2

It appears to have been reported, confirmed, and neglected.
