Hello,
i have a little problem concerning copying tables from Calc to Writer. I used to use MS Office, and there you could just copy+paste tables from one application to another, and have normal table there. When I do that in Open Office, at the best I something like an image inserted which shows the table. But more often it does not even show the table, it's just plain white. So my question is: How can I get an table from Calc into a Writer-document?
Thanks for your help,
mrblue23

Re: Copying a table from Calc to Writer
It depends on what you're looking for.
You should try the different Paste special options : long click on the paste button. Personally, I like the As DDE link option because you don't get any formatting (except the borders of course). Then, if you don't need the file to be linked/updated, go to the Edit>Links menu, select the link entry and disconnect it.

NB: moved your thread in the Writer area.
