I want to print address labels from a spreadsheet. I've been following numerous tutorials online, but I'm stuck at one point. I've been tearing my hair out trying to troubleshoot why when, I do Print To File from the Mail Merge dialog box, nothing happens. No document is ever created. Then I noticed there was no <Next Record> field in the label document. What am I missing in my setup?

Please attach the label document without database so we can have a look.

Re: No <Next Record> field in address label mail merge
A screenshot of a document is not as useful as a document unless we deal with a display issue.
The attached document biblio_label.odt is linked to the "Bibliography" database which is shipped with the office suite. I made this with the label wizard of LibreOffice 7.2 and tested it with OpenOffice 4.1.11 on Linux.
biblio_out.odt is the print out produced with OpenOffice.
Do you get the same results when you print biblio.odt to a file?
Do you see the <Next ...> fields at the end of each label?
