Add pictures to leaflet template

Post by AB1966 »

I was given some very useful information regarding leaflet templates. Thank you. I have a new website, and from that website I would like to take some picture etc and put them onto the leaflet. I have tried several things but nothing has worked. Can anyone help me with this?

You might find [Tutorial] Some useful hints on using images a source of helpful information when dealing with images in Writer.

If you still need help, perhaps you could give some more information about the "leaflet", presumably a template according to your earlier topic in the forum, and exactly what have tried.

1. Download the free IrfanView Image Editor from https://www.irfanview.com/
2. right-click an image on the website > Copy Image.
3. In IrfanView go Edit > Paste.
4. Save the resulting image file as a JPG for a photo and as a PNG for anything else.
5. Drag the image file into Writer.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
