[Issue] Importing images with transparency

Post by W3ndollyn »

This is a problem that this program has had since the beginning. I want to copy paste an image that has transparent areas so that it blends with my document. There is no option to set a colour to transparent or to paste the image as is with transparent areas transparent. The option is available in draw, but not in writer.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You can't do that in Writer. You've to do that in Draw or Impress and then copy and paste the pic in Writer.
See the procedure here: [Solved] Select Transparent Colour.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the *EDIT button if your issue has been fixed.

My problem is not solved though as this should be a basic function as is available in Gimp, Clip Studio and Microsoft Office
