This is a problem I have been having specific to using tables within the Open Office Writer program.
Whenever I try to type the word "iShares" as the first word in a field of a table, Auto-correct turns it into IShares.
I then have to go back and correct it to "iShares" every...single...time.
I have updated the word in my dictionary, and it doesn't auto-correct to "IShares" when I type it as the first word in regular text outside of a table.
It just does this inside of tables.
I've tried updating the auto-correct feature by going to Tools > Auto Correct Options... and replacing the text "IShares", "ishares" and "Ishares" with "iShares", but it sill doesn't work.
Any ideas?
BTW, I have Open Office 4.1.8 and I'm using Mac OS 10.11.6
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Auto-correct in tables won't recognize the word "iShares
I do not see that behavior if I turn off Capitalize First Letter Of Every Sentence under Tools -> AutoCorrect Options -> Options. Does that work for you?
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint
