[Solved] How can I Pin top line of a Table in Writer

Post by johnoo »

I have a Table where the top line states the heading of each of the Columns.
I've also Copied & Pasted this to the top line of sheet number 2.
But when I add more details into the columns of sheet 1, the Header/top line of sheet 2 moves down.
So how can I prevent this happening & pin the line to the top of the Table in all sheets?

I would suggest using the same table structure for each page (separate tables) and not allowing a table to go over one page. Other volunteers may suggest a different method.

Have you looked at the menu option Table | Heading rows repeat?

From the HELP - F1:

"Repeating a Table Heading on a New Page
You can repeat a table heading on each new page that the table spans.
1. Choose Table - Insert - Table.
2. Select the Heading and the Repeat heading check boxes.
3. Select the number of rows and columns for the table.
4. Click OK."
