I am doing some alpha/numeric typing drills. In this drill, all lines of data entry are to be left justified. I have no problems until a begin a line with a number that includes a decimal point. When a line begins with a number that has a decimal, it automatically indent, starts numbering each line and puts the data in 'columns'. If I type the same numbers without the decimal points, I have no problems with left justification.
example attached.
Thank you, cengel

Re: Text document
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Tools > Autocorrect options > Options tab and uncheck Apply numbering - Symbol.
Note that you should avoid .doc format. Stick to native ODF (.odt for text).
