Small gaps in diagrams using Chess Merida font

Post by Kalkon »

I wanted to make some chess diagrams so I tried using the Chess Merida font, but it doesn't look good.
With some sizes it looks as it should, but mostly it looks as in the attached image. If you zoom it keeps changing.
I tried the same diagrams in wordpad and they mostly look fine, though at some sizes the width of the lines wasn't the same, but at least it didn't fall apart.
How can I fix?

What do you mean exactly?
I don't see anything wrong in your screenshot.

Nor did I - all the sizes in the screenshot looked OK to me.

Look at the borders. The squares are supposed to be next to eachother without any space between them.

The gaps are probably a product of the graphics system. Similar gaps appeared when I tried the font, but they disappeared when I scrolled the page.
