[SOLVED] Columns interfere with each other
I divided the page into several vertical columns. Adding or deleting spaces in any of the columns makes the text move accordingly in all columns to the right. How can I stop this please? Thank you very much.

Can you upload a small document demonstrating this problem? I can't think of a way to do that. To upload a file, click PostReply and look for the Upload Attachment tab just below the box where you type a response.

Re: Columns interfere with each other.
Text flows from one page column to the next automatically. That's how page columns work. Try using a multi-column table instead. Text does not flow from cell-to-cell in a table.

You can insert tables into Writer documents. The cells of the table are independent, so text in one will not affect another. Use the menu Table -> Insert. You can set the number of rows and columns in the dialog but it is simple to insert more rows or columns if you need to later.
