Change single to smart quote

I just started using this app a few hours ago and I love it! The only bad thing that I have to say about it is the fact that the apostrophe doesn't match the quotation marks. The quotation marks are curved, while the apostrophe is not. Does anyone know away to change the straight apostrophe into the curved one?

OpenOffice consists of a number of parts; word processor, spreadsheet, drawing package, presentations, database front end and math equation editor. I assume you are talking about Writer, the word processor in OpenOffice.

Go to Tools | Autocorrect Options and select the Localised Option tab. There you can choose whether to replace standard doublequotes and apostrophes, and with what.
