[SOLVED] First word of every sentence is not capitalized

OO 4.1.8 When I start a new sentence the first word is not capitalized. I checked options> AutoCorrect> options and "Capitalize the first word in every sentence" is checkmarked. Can someone tell me why this isn't working?

My bad. I was constructing a list of items and wasn't putting period After each line. After I started doing that the capital letters started showing up as they should.

Possibly you didn't select the option under [T] - AutoFormat / AutoCorrect while typing - see the attached image. Click the image to view full size.

Also, make sure that Format > AutoCorrect > While typing is checked.

I have just carried out a quick test; I get automatic capital letters following full stop, question mark, exclamation mark. Each of these needs to be succeeded by a space to get the capital letter. I have not tested with any other "sentence terminators" such as quotes or brackets.

My settings are /Format /AutoCorrect /While typing (selected)
and
/Format /Autocorrect /Autocorrect options : Options tab, checkmark in [T] column against "Capitalize first letter of every sentence"
