[Solved] Temporarily hide pictures before printing

Postby prr » Fri May 01, 2020 2:30 am

I know that in MS Office one can press Ctrl+Shft+H to then select pictures that you don't want to print. Is there a way to do that with LibreOffice?

File | Print or Ctrl-P or use the print icon and choose the LibreOffice Writer tab; under Contents uncheck Pictures and other graphic objects

Thanks, I see how to do that now. That is nice. Its actually quicker if you have more than just a couple of pics, too.

See [Tutorial] Some useful hints on using images for a discussion on how best to handle images in Writer.
LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
