Underlining text

I have mistakenly underlined all the text. How do I reverse this please?

Is it a wavy red underline, or black straight line?

If it is black straight line:
- How you formatted the text: by a Style or directly (manually)?

If it is wavy red underline:
- Which languagy did you selected?
- Is the relevant language pack installed?

It's a black line. I must have stupidly touched something!

Pressing CTRL+z undoes the last action.

Or select the text and hit Ctrl+M to reset the formatting.
If it remains on the last line it can be something else, more info depending on the results of the proposals above.

Ctrl+U underlines, so you may have accidentally pressed that. It will also remove the underline again if the selection is underlined already.
