[Solved] Copy Autocorrect entries to another computer

Postby renatojp » Fri Apr 03, 2020 12:50 am

I've added many AutoCorrect entries in my notebook, so how can I use them in another computer?

PS: thanks for the help.

Autocorrect entries are stored in the user profile, specifically in a sub-directory autocorr - see [Tutorial]The OpenOffice User Profile and particularly the post on Profile content.

The actual file[s] will be named acor_xx-YY.dat where xx is the language and YY is the version of that language. For example, acor_en-AU.dat for Australian English.

You can copy the entire sub-directory to the user profile on the other machine; which will also include other changes you may have made to things like autocorrect exceptions. Make sure that AOO is not running when you copy the files across; it will read the new/changed information when it is started.
Cheers
