No picture

Good afternoon everyone, I'm new to this, so please bare with me,..Up until recently when writing a text document, I used to go to pictures press from file, up popped my pictures, I CHOSE ONE, saved it and it appeared on my sheet. I HAVE HIT A BUTTON SOMEWHERE, new when i press from file, yes the pictures come up, I choose one, but instead of a picture appearing, an empty box appears with graphics in the box. So I CAN'T SEE THE PIC....but when I DOWNLOAD the pic is there, but not the correct size i need..can anyone help, cheers....

Check the option in Tools > Options > OpenOffice Writer > View > Graphics and objects

hi, tried what you said unticked graphics and objects, sorry still the same, thanks for trying..
