Wordstar retrieval

Postby s_lehman » Sun Aug 23, 2009 3:48 am

Hi,

I have some old Wordstar files from the early 90s that I would like to convert into Word or odt. format. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Welcome to this forum, Steve!

I did a search on the web using the three words "Wordstar", "document" and "conversion" and I got to this website which has a converter.

This is the plugin for Microsoft Word. A list of converters is found at www.wordstar.org.

The current software which can open WordStar files and save them as RTF files is Write&Set (www.writeandset.com).

The Windows version of StarOffice contained WordStar import filters until version 9. You might be able to get SO7 from the following link.
