[Solved] Requesting help converting to split database

Post by Dalke55 »

I have attempted to convert two of my embedded database to split  and do not seem to do it correctly. Can I get these converted or a more step by step procedure to follow?

Thank You in advance for help! :)

Hello,
i did it for you. Just extract the attached .zip and keep the folder database, next to both .odb-files.
Then copy from your OpenOffice Installation
C:\Program Files\OpenOffice 4\program\classes the file hsqldb.jar into that folder database
To let OpenOffice run the macro for establishing the connection, please adjust Tools/Options .../Security/Macro security ... at least to Medium.

Requesting help starting a hsqldb server

Post by rwzelnick »

We transferred to a new server machine and cannot get the hsqldb server to run and present a socket that OO Base can find. We get "socket creation error" even though it appears the server is running. Can someone provide a server.start.bat file and how to customize it to our folders? Also a server.stop.bat file please. Any other help or observations will also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
