Hi. Please help.
I am trying to make a table, but eveytime I am told that Openoffice needs Java Runtime Enviroment.
I have downloaded JRE jre-8u60-setup and run the program.
Once finish I restart my computor, go back to make a table and same thing, over and over and over.
What am I doing wrong or need to do?
I have also done the application JaveSetup8u121
My use Windows 10.

Did you download a 32 bit JRE? OpenOffice is a 32 bit application and needs the corresponding JRE. If so, did you activate the JRE within OpenOffice? Go to the menu Tools -> Options, expand the OpenOffice list on the left and click Java. Click the Use a Java Runtime Environment box and wait several seconds for the list to populate. Click the radio button next to the listed JRE. I don't remember if you have to restart OpenOffice, so do that just in case. Does Base work now?
