I am using OpenOffice 4.13 on Windows 10. On one of my tables, when I try to enter a record I get an error message that reads
"Error inserting new record....VALUE too long in statement .." then gives a list of the fields and then "VALUES??????"
When I looked at the more info, it read "SQL status 22001 Error code 124
What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Re: data entry error message
That message usually occurs when you try to insert a string into a table field that is longer than the declared size of that field. Open your table in the Edit mode and look for a field with Text[VARCHAR] type that has the Length set smaller than what you were trying to insert."Error inserting new record....VALUE too long in statement
