I deleted a database erroneously

Post by thedenfan »

Help ! I wrongly deleted a database. How can I recover it? I can get into the database heading. When I click on 'Tables' my database doesn't appear in 'Forms'.

If you have actually erased the database from the disk (deleted the file), use Recuva or PhotoRec to try and un-erase it. Otherwise you may just have broken the link to the file from Base; you should remake this.

Your posting makes no sense.
Did you delete the odb file?
The registration of the odb file?
The contained database of an odb file?
An external data source connected to an odb file?
What makes you believe that you deleted something?
What did you actually do when you deleted something?
If you can still open the odb file: Which type of connection is indicated in the left part of the status bar?
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

Thank you for your reply. I am told that I may have broken the link to the file from Base. Can you help me if this suggestion is correct? Regards, David
