How to Set Default Values for Standard Filter?

Post by SammyPeer »

Hello friendly AOO People,

As the subject suggests I would like to set default values for the standard filter in OpenOffice BASE.

The reason for this is that I access the standard filter a LOT but always choose the condition like, and a lot of the time choose one particular field (but not always). Then enter a value that can be one of many thousands of street names or suburbs.

If there is a way to speed things up that isn't via the 'standard filter' I would be happy to look at that too.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Regards,

[Example #1] Filter/Search with Forms (leveraging SubForms)

For a quick solution, create a form based on the table/query and apply the form based filter.
