This must be a stupid question, since I can't find any reference to anyone else asking it!
Why am I unable to print the results of a query? The printer icon is grayed out.
Is this by design (if so, why?) or is my setup faulty?

You asked:
If I wanted to accomplish this 'operation' as you have described . . . I would use the best of the OpenOffice Suite, that is, the tools from both, Calc and Base. I would do it this way.wghamm wrote:Why am I unable to print the results of a query? The printer icon is grayed out.

- Open a Calc Sheet
- Press F4 OR from the Menu: View -> Data Sources
- Navigate to the database and table, view, or query
- Right click on the item ( table, view, or query ) and choose Copy from the menu
- In the Calc sheet . . . click on the cell you want to 'start' the data
- Ctrl + V OR from the Menu: Edit -> Paste
I hope this helps, please be sure to let me / us know.
