[Solved] Query substraction problem

Post by NiksaVel »

Hey guys..

as part of my database I have a simple query used to display a subtraction of two numbers.. it work perfectly normal except if I try to substract the number "66" with anything at all I get the result "12"... does anyone have any clue whatsoever about this?

I even noticed that when running the query in query editor it works okay, but when ran from a form than it gives this strange result... if I change the number to 67 or 65 or anything at all for that matter it gives a perfectly normal result...

Is this some kind of a bug or am I just going crazy?? :)

Why don't you post an example? To attach a file, click on the button "Upload attachment" just below the "Submit" button.

Okay... after sleeping on it, I have just realised that I haven't set the relations of the subform with the query and the main form properly hence I wasn't getting the desired result - fixing those solved all my problems!
