Are there any templates of common DB applications

Post by saphil »

I would love to use Base for designing stand-alone data structures. I already know how to make db structures, but I am lazy and would like to see some other people's solutions to common database applications. :-)

I feel like Base could be such a boon for people building stand-alone db applications...

Hi Saphil,

Well there are a number of physical databases you can get a hold off.

One a double entry accounting system is available at
http://www.ninthavenue.com.au/products/gemstone

Another, for use in a sculpture atists' gallery can be found at
http://www.e-easel.org/staticpages/inde ... rtdatabase

A simple Inventory database can be found at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=172855

Hi Drewjensen/Saphil
Any template that you know of for managing (small) projects (translation jobs).
I want to set up a simple DB of my projects with various tables (documents, customers, ...) but have no time to get into the documentation to do it myself.
Any suggestion of existing template ?
Or maybe a consultant might be interested in paid assignment ?
Regards

Gérard
