yes a simple question . i have forms to input data into table . with one column set to unique . the form dosnt edit the following data , but creates a new record of the information, when what is in the unique colmn is matched .. form properties are set to add modify and delete.
why cant i keep the individual records unique ..

I downloaded your example, but it is incomplete, as apparently it connects to another database to get the table content. Please repost a complete file so we can further help you.

Ooops, now it works, I can open the table... Don't know what I did wrong the first time! I have found the behavior of the form in line with the table definition: when I try creating a new record with an already existing Number, I get a "duplicate Primary key" error message.
