Re: importing calc-tables to dbase
There are two different options: 1) connecting to a calc sheet and 2) importing the data into a Base file.
For the second option, seethis article by Solveig Haugland.
This will let you edit the data once you have imported it into the database.

Re: importing calc-tables to dbase
Thanks a lot!! Your tips and the manual both helped immediately!!
A little problem remained - when importing data, quote marks are changed to combinations of special characters.
I guess this has something to do with the usual status of quote marks in CSV or TXT-Files? But I imported directly from a spread-sheet.
It is not an important problem. But thanks in advance if you have a tip ready on how to solve this, too!

Re: [Solved] Importing calc-tables to dbase
Am I doing something wrong? When I try to paste the spreadsheet into oBase in the Table object by right clicking, the only options I get are Select All and Database>Advance Settings. It will not allow me the option to paste. Can someone please assist me in understanding what I'm suppose to do to import CSV files into oBase Table Objects?
