Hello,
I am trying to export the company tables (currently written in Access MDB form) into a form that is usable in both Base and postgresql, but I keep running into the problem of Unable to Open File".... this is hard to believe as the file in gmdb is opened OK.. Anyway.. any help I can get in this direction would be greatfully received.. I have not been able to find any information in regards to MDB Viewer.. or gmdb2 viewer in the forum.
I have setup the export table data.. as follows;
File Name: The original database name.. XXXXX.mdb converted in Access to 97-2003 version from 2007 (yuk!!)
Line terminator: Windows (CR + LF) because I want to be able to access the results on MSXP/Vista.
Column Separator: Comma (,) as in CSV, not tab.. for easy of input into Calc. as a converted DBF file via another program
Quotes: Automatic (where necessary) Hopefully this is automatic.. because I have no idea why that is there...
Quote Character: "
Options: Include Headers (ticked)
Thanks,
Skyhigh
