Data missing between two users

Hello,

I have run into a little problem.

Most of my experience is with MS Access, but over the last 4 days I have been setting a DB w/ OO.

I have a form writing to a table and it has been working fine for me.

I had another user on aonther PC also start entering data.

I realize we both can not be on at the same time and I am coming to grips with that limitation.

However, after the other user entered data, saved and closed the file, I could not see the data in the table on my PC.

I closed the file and checked the other user's PC again. The data was there on his PC.

I checked on a third PC and was able to see the data.

I only saw the data after I deleted a "soffice.bin" file in my task manager.

Anybody have an idea what is going on???

OOo Base files for single use.
If you use odb file with same name it cause the problem. When you close the odb file if it registered it still open until quick starter is closed, waiting for use as datasource. The file you opened from other computer is opened but changes not shown locked in earlier state. If you fully quit from OOo and quicstarter, or not use quickstarter, before you open another computers file.
Or if you works in same place or have a server install on that a reaal database, as MySQL or Postgresql, and use OOo as frontend with forms and reports.
