Problem in direct data entry

i am not able to enter record after making table in design view. the edit data icon isnot activated. The table has primary key too, Is it related to Table name or something?

Base tables without a Primary Key are read only. The SDetails table you uploaded does NOT have a Primary Key, I copied your table into SDetails01 and added a Primary Key with the Auto Value property set to Yes, and now data entry is possible into SDetails01.
Forms allow far more formatting options than using the Table View GUI, so I created a Form document also named SDetails01.
