[Solved] New document page is black
hi please see the attachment , when i open a " new document " i get the page in this form ,( 4 boxes ) how do i get a new page that is just one full full page , thank you donar

Do not use Dark theme, if you can not recognise the boundary of the Page and the Margin-lines (etc...) on a monocolor view.

sorry i do not know what a " dark theme " is . this problem has " occurred " it popped up from somewhere, i must have done something but know nothing about " dark 'theme "
if i uninstall my open office program and re-install it will i lose all of my saved documents etc etc?? donar

The default theme of the Apache OpenOffice on my Windows 10: There is a visible contrast betveen the page of the new document, and the background of the application.sorry i do not know what a " dark theme " is . this problem has " occurred " it popped up from somewhere, i must have done something but know nothing about " dark 'theme "
Your attachment shows a full black environment.

You will not loose your documents. But YOU MUST know, where you saved them to on your HDD/SSD.if i uninstall my open office program and re-install it will i lose all of my saved documents etc etc?? donar

thank you sir , actually i did remember the " black" background after i replied to you in my last message , i can easily alter the background colour.
i will make sure i know where my saved documents are and uninstall then re-install open office .
i was thinking my problem was to do with tables etc , i do not fully understand things like tables etc , i have no use for them so i do not need to know i suppose. i get 4 of those " boxes " shown in the attachment.
i am not a big user of O/O but when i need something like that it is the program i use .
