OpenOffice not working on my Acer Aspire 3 Laptop

Hi everyone,
I have purchased a new acer aspire 3 laptop. Before that I have a Dell laptop and Openoffice was working correctly on it. But it is not working on my new Acer Aspire 3 Laptop. Is there any compatibility problem on Acer laptop. Please help me!!
Whenever I run OO on it. My keyboard stops working. TIA

OpenOffice and all other programs work correctly on my Acer Aspire V5-171 laptop. You may need to verify that yoi have the correct drivers for the keyboard and the touchpad.

What operating system are you using? Windows 10?

RoryOF: Do I need to update my drivers.

That should not hurt. Also check Acer site in case they have customised drivers.
