On your new computer, best to download and install a fresh copy of OpenOffice. Your existing files, hopefully of type .odt, can be copied to a USB key and once that is inserted into the new computer, transferred into whatever target directories you desire, working in both cases at operating system level. Be careful to observe the operating system's USB removal protocol.

On Windows 10 it is better to install the latest Still version of the LibreOffice instead of the Apache OpenOffice.
The latest Still version of the LibreOffice is the LO 6.1.6 version today.
