Problem installing open office New user

Post by bazza52 »

Hi
I'm a first time user of OpenOffice and am having trouble installing this.
When it comes to the 3 drop down menus, favorite system, language etc, all 3 boxes are empty so therefore I am unable to choose and download the programme to my Windows 7.
Please could you let me know why this is. Thank you
OpenOffice 4.1.6 on Windows 7

Welcome to the Forums.
I just checked the official download site and everything is working ok for me.
What are you using for a browser? I tried it with Google Chrome (my preference) and Firefox. Internet Explorer (which I detest) is disabled on my system.
Are your browser setting configured to accept cookies? If it is, then try clearing your cache memory... if not, set it to accept cookies on a per instance basis (exact wording varies depending on your browser)
