Benn using and enjoying Open Office for years. Tried to open a spreadsheet I have been using for years and received the following message - "General Error. General Input/output error." I am now unable to access that file. Any suggestions what this means and a way to get file accessed/open it?

Maybe your file is damaged.

Have you some backup copies of it?
Where it was stored: on a portable/removable device?
What file type are you using for your spreadsheet documents?
