[SOLVED] How do I send my Document as an email?

I have created a document in OpenOffice Writer. 4
How do I send my Document as an email?
I am a novice and not very tech savvy.
Is there a tutorial somewhere for it?
Please help,.

In theory you can send your document directly as an email from OpenOffice. I never do that - I Save my document, then use my normal email program and attach the document to a normal email message (usually an option on the menu of the email program)
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.6 on Xubuntu 18.04.2 (mostly 64 bit version) and very infrequently on Win2K/XP
