have problems with the glossary. Spell checking uses English glossary despite the fact that I have a Swedish dictionary listed on all settings. How do I do to get Swedish.

Welcome to the Forums.
My first suggestion is to check the language setting for your locale.
As this is a setting in Windows, not OpenOffice, many people don't think of it when they "have checked all settings". I'm not saying that you didn't think of it, but, statistically, most people don't.
As you are on Windows 10, I am unable to provide you with instruction on how to check that.

OpenOffice 4.1.7, LibreOffice 7.0.1.2 on Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate & Windows 10 Home (2004)
