All documents need recovery

Each time I access an open office document I get a scrren that says "start recovery". Click on that and then I get a screen that says "next". After I click next my document shows up. How do I get rid of this annoying screen that requires me to do a recovery each time I access a document

Try to reset your OpenOffice user profile.

If no change, make sure there is no ~lock.xxx file in the folder where is located the file you're trying to access. It is a hidden file by default, you may have to change the view parameters for files and folders.
