I have very recently noticed that Fomulae I have previously created within documents have now got images of telephones & other strange 'wingdings' in place of the brackets etc that were originally set & saved. Normal text appears ok.
Any offers
Thanks

Re: Writer (Object Formula) Brackets
Were these file generated on an older version of windows before you changed to Win 10? Most probably an incorrect font problem.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

Thanks for your interes
Written originally in Win10 but there has been a recent update to Open Office ver 4.1.5 Originals were written prior. PDF versions appear unaffected.

Re: Writer (Object Formula) Brackets
The OpenSymbol font is used by default for symbols in formulae. If you're seeing the wrong symbols, then check the Fonts dropdown list on the Toolbar in Writer. If OpenSymbol isn't listed, then repair AOO 4.1.5 to install the OpenSymbol font.
