[Solved] 4.1.4. Will not install

Post by woz135 »

So I am trying to update and I get the following error.

I have also tried running the installer as Administrator and deleting all the files I could find and trying a "fresh" install. I am sure I may have missed something, please lend me some ideas.

May take me a while to respond, I will be at work.

Thanks.

Wow, thanks Bill. I never thought of such a complicated solution to my problem. /sarcasm.

Now, any ideas that are not listed in the search results for 1303, I mean, it's only the first thing I tried, before going to the trouble of creating an account, verifying it, taking a screen shot, etc.

If you don't say what you have done, then you are likely to get suggestions you've already tried. As far as any more ideas, I have none since I've never encountered this error and if I did, I would have to do exactly what I recommended.

Re: 4.1.4. Will not install Fixed, sort of.

OK, so after trying most everything again (including searching again Bill,) I think I found a fix, at least for my case.

When it asked if I wanted to install it for everyone or just me, I selected me and it worked fine.

I am the only user on this machine.

Regardless, I can use it.
