Documents list

Post by confucius »

I'm using 4.1.1 on a Windows 10 OS.

When I click on the Open Office tile in the Start Up page I get a page listing various templates. On the bottom of the list is a link "Open". When I click on this link I'm shown a list of documents I've previously saved. Some of these documents I no longer need.
How do I delete those I don't need?

Do you just want to remove the file names from the most recently used list, but keep the files on your computer?

Or do you want to delete the actual files from the computer as well as remove them from the most recently used list?

I want to delete the files, that I don't need, from the list as well as the computer. Some of the files I wish to keep, (those that I need).
Thanks

I don't know what the 'startup page' is in Windows 10 - possibly someone who uses it can help there. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... n-the-menu may be some use.

To actually delete the files themselves, open File Explorer, locate the file(s), right click on them and select Delete. See also this article
