Copy and Paste Crashes Writer-every session-2 computers

This happens every time I use Writer. At some point one of my Copy/paste actions causes the program to hang. Not every copy/paste, but at least one time during each OO Writer session. When it happens, I can do nothing but end it from task manager, and restart. Only OO locks up, any other software that might be running is not affected. This suggests it is a problem with OO and not Windows. I now have it autosave every 1 minute to reduce what I lose when this happens. This is a regular occurrence on my work machine, and my laptop. Both are Win 10 Pro

Have you Reset The User Profile ?

It is a bit of a reach since the problem is on two machines but it is worth a try.

Is this happening with many documents? If so, did you create them all?

What happens if you use the attached file?

I don't think that would help discover the problem. It is randomly consistent if that's possible. It always happens once within a document, and always during a cut and paste operation, though not everyone. I may be typing for 5 minutes or an hour, but at some point a cut brings it on.

The two machines are very different, except that both are Win 10 upgrades on top of Win 7.

Have you any application installed that monitors or touches the clipboard? One such application that caused problems was that used by Skype.

I do have Clipboard Magic on both machines. Could that be a conflict?

Try disabling it and see if the problem persists.
