Testing Open Office 4.1.3 -- moving from MS Office 2007.
Is it possible to set a default file location outside of My Documents? I have organized my files into a Windows folder (Our_Files). I start Excel and Word from this folder.

In /Tools Options /OpenOffice /Paths, select the My Documents entry and edit it to point to your desired target directory. OpenOffice will also remember the last directory you used to Save a file.
