OO usage on iPad & iPhone6

Post by sadams »

My OO .odt file has a password. The OOReader app does not work with documents with PW's and states I need to load the version of OO Pro. I can't find a Pro version of OO in the Apple App store. Is a Pro version available or do I need a different app to be able to open .odt files that are PW protected? I don't need to revise the .odt file, just read it. Thanks

First off, Welcome to the forums
Regretfully I must inform you that a Pro version of Open Office does not exist.
The official versions of Open Office can be found at http://www.openoffice.org/download
Apple's Gatekeeper (I think it's called) has caused problems with people who use Macs and want to use Open Office.
I found this topic while searching for similar posts like yours.
OpenOffice 4.1.7, LibreOffice 7.0.1.2 on Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate & Windows 10 Home (2004)
