[Solved] cannot install extensions in Open Office

Post by andreatk »

I am using Open Office 4.1.3. I can run the program fine (I was using writer earlier with no problems) until I was working in my database and tried to run a report. It would not run, so I checked, my extensions were not showing. I went and downloaded the dictionary and the Oracle report builder (required to run reports)

to install. They will not install. I have attached a jpg to show the error message. I also realized that I didn't have the 32bit java install, I corrected that problem. I also installed vcredist_x86.exe as advised in another post. I am still getting the same error message. This is driving me crazy, please help, I need to run these reports.

Thank you that did the trick, I had read about doing that somewhere, but couldn't find it again.
