Printing from OO does not work

I cannot print from any Open Office app. I can export as a PDF and print from Adobe Reader. I can print from the web. Print test page works. In fact printing from anything other than Open Office works.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the printer (numerous times) and Open Office. The printer drivers are up to date. As I say, printing works, just not from Open Office.

Running Win 10.

Any helpful ideas?

1. Please describe exactly what happens when you try to print from AOO. Where does it fail? What message do you get? Does the printer start? Does a blank sheet of paper come out?

2. What does File > Printer settings ..., show?

3. What does File > Print preview ..., show?

4. Check Tools > Options > OpenOffice > Print ..., and Tools > Options > OpenOfficeWriter > Print ...
