I'm trying to open office (Mac Sierra) and got this strange message from the OpenOffice program and I don't understand the problem and have no idea how to cure it. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
"Either another instance of OpenOffice is accessing your personal settings or your personal settings are locked. Simultaneous access can lead to inconsistencies in your personal settings. Before continuing, you should make sure user (my name) closes Open Office on host 'Michaels-imac.attlocal.net'. Do you really want to continue? Yes/No.
I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Tried rebooting the computer. Right clicked on open office icon and it didn't indicate open office was running. Now what?
