Windows 10 doesn't run the disc for Open Office 2017

I just purchased a H/P Laptop with Windows 10 and when I install the disk for Open Office 2017 the activate screen does not pop-up on the monitor, but the disc works fine on on my PC. How do I get it to activate?

Boot Windows 10, then insert and run the OpenOffice install disk. OpenOffice is a suite of programs that runs under Windows, not an operating system, so your laptop will not boot from it.

Sorry, I guess I used the wrong terminology, the Laptop boots up and works fine but the OO-2017 doesn't.

Apache OpenOffice does not have a product called Open Office 2017. I suspect you have disk full of malware. OpenOffice should be downloaded from www.openoffice.org. The download link there will redirect you to SourceForge which will automatically start the download. Don't click any links at SourceForge.
