Default settings

Post by indiadreamer »

Thank heavens for the Forum. I have had this similar problem at least three times and I can never remember how to fix it. For some unknown reason, probably something I accidentally changed, whenever I open a document in Open Office, it is not exactly what it was originally. There are weird changes to margins so that some of the words can't be seen. I think I need to reset my user profile which solved my other problems. Could somebody please tell me how to do this? Thank You. Charles

Before you do that, are you saving your document in OpenOffice format - i.e. .ods for Calc (spreadsheet), .odt for Writer (word processor) ? If not, there is a possibility you will lose some formatting when saving as (actually exporting to) foreign document types.
